A Cute Meaningful Anniversary Gift

Posted on

This post is about a year late!

But I didn’t have this blog yet a year ago, and so I’m going to share this year!  Plus it’s background for my next post.

Yesterday was our 11 year anniversary.  I have a fabulous husband.  I love him, and thank God that He gave me the perfect gift for me in the form of Tony.  I could go on and on and on about him, but I think it would make everyone jealous (tee hee)… so just insert lots of gushy stuff, and that’s what I’d say.

So last year (if you’re SUPER good at math) was our 10 Year Anniversary!  It felt like such a milestone!

Going into double digits!

So, I KNEW I had to put some work into Tony’s Anniversary gift.

I came up with this…

I bought myself a blank scrapbook with a pretty cover.

I came up with 10 TOP TEN LISTS OF LOVE!

1.  Things I Love About You

2.  Things That Set You Apart

3.  Things I Admire About You

4.  Funny Things About You

5.  Romantic Moments

6.  Memorable Date Nights

7.  Moments with the Kids

8.  Things You’ve Taught Me

9.  Fabulous Trips

10.  Things I Pray for Our Future

I did it really simply.

Just with a kit of scrap booking stuff to make it matchy throughout, and some Crayola markers!

Here’s a couple pages, for examples…

By the way, if you read it… I mean every word… Tony’s amazing!

It’s one of the best gifts I’ve given my husband, because it’s something cute, meaningful, and a gift we’ll keep.

And the reason I’m writing about it right now is – there were extra pages in the book,

so we decided to write in it each year on our anniversary, which we did yesterday!  Read it here!

We’re hoping it will be a treasured book that we’ll love to look through for many years!
